MONROVIA – Mr. Chambiyor Bridges, Jr., Human Resource Director at the House of Representatives, has been indefinitely suspended without benefits following allegations of misconduct. The decision was communicated in a letter dated December 12, 2024, signed by C. Cormicks Chea, Acting Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, on behalf of the Rules, Order, and Administration Committee Chair by Rep. James Kolleh.
The letter outlined the reasons for Mr. Bridges’ suspension, which include:
- Gross insubordination
- Double dipping
- Conflict of interest
- Administrative default
Mr. Bridges has been instructed to cooperate with an investigative team set up by the Rules, Order, and Administration Committee during his suspension. He is also required to hand over all office property and documents to the Deputy Chief Clerk or Acting Chief Clerk.
The suspension letter emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and the expectation of Mr. Bridges’ full cooperation throughout the investigation process.
