MONROVIA – The mysterious death of Gardnerville medical practitioner Eric K. Duaryenneh has sparked public concern and calls for a thorough investigation. The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, when Duaryenneh, a resident of Nyanford Town, reportedly left his home at the request of Pastor Jasen Wallace to supervise ongoing construction at the church edifice on New Georgia Road.
According to family members, Duaryenneh did not return home that day. The following day, his lifeless body was discovered at the JFK Medical Center morgue. Relatives said that while they were still searching for him, Pastor Wallace broke the news that their loved one had already been deposited in the morgue.
Reports indicate that Duaryenneh may have died at a hotel, but his remains were allegedly transferred to the morgue before the family was officially notified. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and the family has expressed serious suspicion over Pastor Wallace’s involvement in the case.
The wife of the late Duaryenneh has publicly called on the Liberia National Police (LNP) and other relevant authorities to conduct a transparent and comprehensive investigation. She emphasized the need for justice and accountability, urging that those responsible for any wrongdoing be held liable.
