NATIONAL COUNTY SPORTS MEET COMMITTEE RECEIVES THREE PROTESTS AND A COMPLAINT

LIBERIA – The Protest Committee of the 2022/2023 National County Sports Meet has so far received three protests and a complaint. Below are the protests and complaints

  1. Protest filed by Sinoe county against Bong County (Football).
  2. Protest filed by Grand Cape Mount County against Grand Bassa County (Football).
  3. Protest filed by Grand Gedeh County against Grand Cape Mount County (Football).
  4. Complaint filed by Grand Cape Mounty County against the Central Referee that officiated the G. Cape Mount Versus G. Bassa football match in Buchanan.

The Protest committee on Friday, December 23, 2022, convened and commenced reviewing the three protests and the complaint.

The hearings of the protests are scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in the conference room of the Ministry of Youth and Sports beginning at 1:00 PM, while the complaint is being transferred to the organizing committee of the 2022/23 National County Sports Meet.

All of the counties mentioned above are to be represented by three persons each during the hearings.

The Protest committee wishes to advise all of the parties concerned to remain calm until the final verdicts are rendered.
