VETERAN LIBERIAN JOURNALIST JOINS GOVERNMENT MEDIA TEAM FOR THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS

Veteran Liberian Journalist Aaron Kollie has joined the communication Team of the Government of Liberia.

Kollie is the owner and operator of Power FM 93.3 and he was amount Liberian media experts who participated in a one-day retreat recently which was graced by President George Manneh Weah.

The senior Liberian Journalist also spoke at the retreat and went on a Photoshop with the participants.

The President of the Republic, George Manneh Weah described quality communication as an important and effective tool in promoting and enhancing good governance, he spoke at the retreat.

President Weah stressed that quality communication is an antidote to counteracting ‘deliberate misinformation’ which he said is a “phenomenon that has become so frequent nowadays.”

The President wooed “drivers of government’s information dissemination structures, to rise to the occasion and maximize every given opportunity” to improve the quality of government programs and policies.

Kollie’s radio has been very critical of Weah Government’s activities.

  1. I have been following Aaron Kollie over the years, including those of Samuel Doe and Charles Taylor’s regime’s. He is like a butterfly who goes from one flower to another. He stands for nothing in terms of principles. And so he can fall for anything, and cheapl too. It’s therefore no news about his switch to a leader and party that continue to destroy our country.
