AMOS C. SAWYER FOUNDATION LAUDS FOR TWO MASTER’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS

MONROVIA – The Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Liberia  lauds Dr. Amos C Sawyer Educational Foundation in Liberia for awarding a fully funded Master’s degree Scholarship to Beatrice Snyder ( BA in English),  physically challenged graduate from the Department of English and Language Studies.

This scholarship brings to two of graduates benefiting from the Sawyer Educational Foundation kind gesture.

The first was Miss. Patricia Joma Sando, a graduate from the ACS College with BA in Geography. Both beneficiary of the scholarships performed remarkably in their Undergraduate Thesis Defense and Presentation held at the Thelma E Duncan Sawyer Faculty Lounge in Fendall.

Patricia is from the 103rd Class while Beatrice is from the 104th graduation class.  At the College, research has taken center stage with thesis being accorded great interest and attention as demands by the college’s curricula approved by the ACC and the Faculty Senate.

Graduates who escaped thesis defense exercise will not receive Letter of “Attestation” from the Dean’s office, while graduates who participated in the College’s thesis defense have been given an Official “Certificates Attestation” signed by the Dean with their research topics and names of the Professors of the Thesis Committee highlighted in the attestation.

The Certificates of Attestation were presented to 67 of the 177 graduates during the College uniquely and praiseworthy Annual Academic Recognition and Honoring Program held on 25 September 2024 in Fendall.
