ANGRY MOTORCYCLISTS ALLEGEDLY SET ABLAZE A POLICE DEPOT IN GRAND BASSA

LIBERIA – Angry motorcyclists in Grand Bassa County have allegedly set ablaze the only Police Depot at the St. John River Bridge which is a few miles away from the county’s capital city, Buchanan.

According to Journalist Nyantee Togba of OK FM, the angry mob accused officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) assigned at the Police Depot of embarrassing one of the cyclists which allegedly led him to drown in the St. John River.

Austin Davis, a motorcyclist allegedly jumped into the river for fear of being arrested by the LDEA officers.

Details surrounding his reported fear of being arrested remain unknown. Details to follow
