BMMC SPONSORS MULTIPLE STUDENTS ABROAD, WITH SOME RETURNING WITH OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

LIBERIA – In fulfilment of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation Manpower Training and Capacity Development program, several employees have benefitted from the company’s scholarship program and other educational Support by helping deserving employees achieve their dream career, thus contributing to the overall economic development of the country.

The scholarship program highlights the company’s transformative impact of national building and demonstrates its support to enable employees to pursue their educational dreams and contribute positively to their communities.

In September 2022, Prince C. Toe from the Finance Department was given full two years scholarship to study for a master’s in business administration at the Near East University in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This included all other benefits such as housing, feeding, tuition, and full salary from his home office. Mr. Toe returned in February 2025, with his degree, and will resume work with the Company.

In his communication to the company, Mr. Prince Toe said, “Dear Management,
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the top management team of Avesoro/Bea Mountain Mining Corporation for selecting me as a recipient of the fully funded sponsorship for my Master of Business Administration degree. This opportunity not only represents a personal achievement but also highlights the company’s commitment to developing local talent.

The support I have received has provided me with the financial stability to focus on my studies and enhance my skills and knowledge. I am eager to apply what I learn to contribute to the company and the community. This sponsorship reflects Avesoro/Bea Mountain Mining Corporation’s dedication to fostering an environment that encourages excellence and innovation.
The company’s belief in my potential has inspired me and strengthened my loyalty and commitment to the organization. I look forward to using my new expertise to drive positive changes and support the company’s goals.

The 2024-25 scholarship program is in progress, and two (2) employees have been awarded scholarships with full support; feeding, accommodation, and salary.

Norrison Sonnie, has been granted a one (1) year scholarships to obtain a Master in Mineral Exploration from the University of Science and Technology in Ghana, and Dehkar A.N. Karworzohn, two (2) years Master in Mineral Exploration in Nigeria at the Pan African University.

As an on-going program, many people have applied for scholarships, while others have been given study leave. The company is processing application on a case-by-case basis, for example, last year, 2024, Isaac ZK Sasraku, one of the employees of the company who works in the Community Relations Department was given a partial scholarship to obtain a master’s degree in organizational leadership and management (MLM) at the Egyptian Evangelical Theological University in Cairo, Egypt. Upon his return, he was promoted from Community Relations Supervisor to Community Relations Superintendent.  Isaac ZK Sasraku, upon graduation and promotion wrote, “Greetings all, I am thrilled to announce that I have been promoted to Community Relations Superintendent by extension. This position has been a goal of mine for nearly a decade, so it is fulfilling for me both personally and professionally to finally get here. I am thankful to Bea Mountain Mining Corporation for helping me achieve it. I will work hard to show the confidence and trust they have in me is not unwarranted.

Thanks so much to senior management, especially to my immediate department manager, or the raise. It’s exciting to be recognized for my hard work and dedication this way, and it empowers and encourages me to do my best for this company for many more years to come.” I’m eager to bring my abilities and skills to this new position. I am thankful that bosses have recognized my hard work over these past several years and am eager to demonstrate my capability in my new role. I owed it all to God.” Isaac ZK Sasraku, CHRP, MA, Bsc, LLM-Progress, Community Relations Superintendent”.

These scholarships provided by the Company are to empower individuals and employees to pursue higher education, expand their knowledge, develop crucial skills and allow scholarship recipients to contribute meaningfully to society, both economically and socially. Additionally, the company’s scholarships don’t only benefit employees but are extended to communities, which the company believes that, when the communities are educated, they will bring their knowledge and skills back to their areas, positively influencing social and economic development.
