MONROVIA – In a surprising turn of events, President Boakai has issued a mandate to his team of officials at the Ministry of States following an error in the nomination process. The President expressed shock during a discussion with a group of senators at the Executive Mansion, where the issue was raised.
President Boakai specifically pointed out the nomination of former Representative Roger Domah to the post of Deputy Minister for Administration, stating that he had not made such a nomination. He was taken aback to learn that Martha Morris, whom he had nominated for the position, had been replaced with Domah on the Executive Mansion website.
The President clarified that he had designated Martha Morris as the Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Health but was surprised to discover that she had been shifted to the position of Assistant Minister for Administration without his approval.
In response to this error, President Boakai has instructed his team to make the necessary corrections. He expressed disappointment in his team for the grave mistake and emphasized the importance of accurate and transparent nomination processes.
This development has sparked concerns about potential unauthorized changes in nominations within President Boakai’s administration. Stay tuned as this situation continues to unfold.
