Family sources have told OK FM in Monrovia, Liberia a cat has eaten to death a two-month-old baby.
Family sources told the Radio that the incident occurred at weekend, while the child’s mother was asleep.
According to the family, the cat ate the tongue, nose, and other parts of the baby.
Ok FM Correspondent in Tubmanburg said the situation created panic among residents of the city.
Many have said the situation may not be natural, noting that a normal cat would not be brave to eat human flesh, no matter how hungry. This is the first time such an incident to take place in Liberia, according to senior citizens.
