DR. GRAY AND DR. DARYANI SPEAK AT  MALAWI INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS IN INDIA

The Dean of the Prof. Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Liberia, Dr. Josephus M. Gray joins Dr. Ashok Daryani, President of Sharda University, professors, faculty and staff of the institution to attend and celebrate Malawi Independence Day.

Activities commemorating the National Day were organized by Malawian students attending Sharda University in Knowledge Park, Greater Norda, New Delhi, India. Generally, the administration, faculty, and staff of Sharda University celebrate with students during their Independence Day with a special program.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Gray used the occasion to express on behalf of the President of the University of Liberia, Prof. Dr. Julius Julukon Sarwolo Nelson as well as the faculty, staffs and students heartiest congratulations to the students of Malawi and the administration of Sharda University as they commemorate such a momentous occasion.

Dr. Gray who is in the Indian capital New Delhi ahead of a high-powered University of Liberia delegation, praised the students for exemplifying patriotism to honor their heroes, recall and show respect to the state.

Recounting Liberia-Malawi bilateral ties, Prof. Gray reiterated that Independence Day inspires every patriotic individual to thank our heroes. He reminded the students that there is nothing as precious as freedom and love for the country.

He admonished the students to always take pride in calling their elves a Malawian and reminded them that the future of Malawi depends upon its students with strong senses perseverance, dedication and commitment to enhance positive development. Press Release
