MONROVIA – Kelvin Walters, James Sunday Bryant and Abdurahmen Barrie, attorneys in fact for Elizabeth Tubman, commonly called (Baby Sister), oldest daughter of the late John Hilary Tubman, presently residing in the United States of America and one of the administratrixes of estate, wish to inform all shareholders, tenants, and the public that Malita Tubman is not the only biological daughter or heir of the late John Hilary Tubman’s estate, as John Hilary Tubman was never married and that he legitimized his daughter Elizabeth Tubman and also acknowledged her as his daughter. We cannot confirm whether the same was done for Malita Tubman.
“In a statement issued on Thursday, May 22, 2025, and signed by Kelvin Walters, James Sunday Bryant, and Abdurahmen Barrie, the group stated, We also want to inform the public that it is Gabriel Tucker, cousin of Malita (as she, Malita, was raised by his parents), who is conducting illegal and fraudulent acts by selling, leasing, and collecting funds, etc., even though there is a stay order from the Monthly and Probate Court that the John Hilary Tubman’s estate is being supervised and remains under the court until a determination is made by the Honourable Supreme Court regarding who are the legal heirs and beneficiaries of the said estate.
We also want to inform the public that the case at the police station is a separate and distinct matter between Gabriel Tucker and Kelvin Walters (one of the attorneys-in-fact) for Elizabeth Tubman. When Kelvin posted the notice on the property informing everyone that the late John Hilary Tubman home in Fiama was not for sale or for lease; as Elizabeth has been informed that Malita and Gabriel were selling or had sold her father’s home to ECB Jones Company (Land and Housing Development Inc.). Kelvin was arrested and taken to the City Court, after the hearing there exchanges between Gabriel Tucker and Kelvin Walters, wherein Kelvin was told you are not a relative of John Tubman “what do you have to do with his estate and in Kelvin’s reply and he stated I am a Tubman, as I am Victoria Tubman’s child and an attorney in fact for Elizabeth and based on the way the conversation went, Gabriel and his lawyer went to complain to the police station. The case at the police station is on hold, as the complainants have failed and refused to appear for the investigation or hearing, as Kelvin and his lawyer have appeared more than three times for the hearing. That the statement reference what was said by Kelvin is a mere allegation and a hearsay statement which has not been proven as the same is false and a misrepresentation of the facts. So, who is doing the illegal and fraudulent acts, or who is the illegal person?
We, the attorneys-in-fact, wish to again advise the public, shareholders, tenants, and citizens that anyone who has purchased, leased, or given funds to Malita Tubman, who is claiming to be the only heir and only biological child of the late John Hilary Tubman, will be doing so at their own risk, as the case is before the Honourable Supreme Court, and we are all awaiting its final ruling. Even though she is not following or obeying the law, Elizabeth Tubman has decided to obey the law and wait for the court’s final determination on who are the beneficiaries of his estate.
