MONROVIA – The National Security Agency (NSA) has announced the dismissal of Peter Bon Jallah, Special Assistant to NSA Director Maj. Gen. Prince C. Johnson, following serious allegations that he and two unidentified men allegedly gang-sodomized a 15-year-old boy in the Sinkor area of Monrovia in late December 2025.
The incident has drawn national attention, with the mother of the victim breaking her silence and demanding justice. In an emotional account shared through a leaked audio interview, the grieving mother described her son as badly traumatized and physically harmed. She said the child’s condition remains terrible, adding that the pain of watching him suffer has left her devastated.
According to the mother, the alleged crime involved multiple men, whom she described as powerful and well-known figures. She alleged that those involved initially attempted to hide the incident, but her family refused to remain silent in the face of what she called an unforgivable act against her child.
She explained that officers from the Women and Children Protection Section of the Liberia National Police, along with other police units, responded quickly after the case was reported. The mother said police assured her they were doing their best, which is why she has allowed the investigation to proceed without rushing or interfering.
The mother recounted that the suspect was first taken away under the pretext of questioning. She said Peter Bon Jallah denied knowing her son or having any connection to him, insisting he had never seen the child. Investigators, however, later found inconsistencies in his statements.
She also disclosed that police and medical personnel visited the hospital where her son was taken for treatment. At the time, the boy was too traumatized and frightened to speak about what had happened, leaving authorities to rely on other evidence while his condition stabilized.
Following these allegations, the NSA confirmed that Peter Bon Jallah has been formally dismissed from his position, pending the outcome of ongoing law enforcement inquiries. The agency said the dismissal aligns with its commitment to ethical standards and the protection of citizens.
The two other alleged perpetrators remain at large. Authorities have urged the public to provide any information that may assist in locating and apprehending them. The case is being actively investigated by the Liberia National Police and relevant child protection units.
The dismissal of Peter Bon Jallah represents a decisive action by the NSA in addressing allegations of criminal behavior within its ranks. The agency reaffirmed that sexual violence, especially against minors, will not be tolerated.
The mother of the victim continues to call for justice, highlighting the urgent need for accountability and protection for children. Her appeal stresses the broader concern for child safety in Liberia and the responsibility of authorities to safeguard vulnerable citizens.
