Monrovia – Over 6,000 students are expected soon to benefit from 40% scholarship and students international exchange educational programs designed by the Rudolph Kwanue University College as a need to help Liberian students.
In an exclusive interview recently, the founder and President of the Rudolph Kwanue University College at his office in Paynesville City disclosed that Liberian students will no longer have to travel distances to achieve higher education knowledge outside of the community and country which the University has created and made it accessible to every Liberian including Pastors to learn from available and prepared programs that include Hospitality in Hotels and Tourism Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mass Communications and Media Studies, Agricultural Sciences, Education, College Health Sciences, Engineering as well as Theology programs.
According to Professor Kwanue, the scholarship is meant to help every Liberian who is desiring to achieve higher education and serve their country. He said students that will register will automatically stand to benefit from the scholarship, adding that it is an inborn gift from God and a promised that he made to God to give him long life to be able to serve his country and help other people.
Bishop Kwanue further said that through his thorough survey of the community, he realized that there is no university in the community of Pipeline, Wein Town to help young people to forward their education after high school studies which led him to come out with this dream to build the a university.
The Rudolph Kwanue University College which is equipped and accredited by the National Commission on Higher Education; in connection with several partners around the world is fully prepared to officially open to the general public for academic activities in January 2024.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kwanue has introduced a new style of learning in hotel management which he termed Hospitality in Hotels and Tourism Management, saying Liberia does not know about Tourism and Hospitality and will be prioritized in the university, mentioning other countries such as Ghana and Nigeria that have good Hospitality practice.
