LNP DECLARES TWO WANTED FOR ALLEGED THEFT OF PROPERTY, HARASSMENT AND ASSAULT

MONROVIA – The Liberia National Police has declared wanted a Chinese national, Yue Wang, and a Liberian, Samuel Saah Joshua for the crimes: Theft of Property, Harassment and Assault.

According to the LNP press release, on 18th May 2023 at 1445hrs, Victims, Foday Teah, Abraham Trawally, etc reported to the Liberian National Police that on the date and time mentioned supra, suspect Wang and Joshua drove to Po-River on board a Navy Blue Toyota Land Cruiser with plate #: CIE, owned by Yue Wang.

According to the complainants, they have beaten and their cash and valuable items including two power saws, phones, etc. were all taken away from them by the suspects.

Upon registering the said complaint, our Chief Criminal Investigator placed several calls to Mr. Yue Wang to avail himself of the investigation, but he has repeatedly reneged in flagrant disregard for the rule of law.

Similarly, the investigation called Mr. Samuel Saah Joshua and he informed the investigation that he was out of town and would have availed himself on 21st May, but to no avail.

Hence, in view of the foregoing and with the sole desire of ensuring that these two suspects who are currently on the run face the full weight of the law, the LNP urges members of the public to assist us with any useful information leading to their arrest.
