NIMBA COUNTY – Representative Musa Hassan Bility of Nimba County’s District #7 has emerged as the Political Leader of the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC), a newly established political party. Bility secured the position unopposed during the party’s election held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Nimba County.
Following his election, Bility was officially sworn into office. In his acceptance speech, he vowed to prioritize the fight against corruption, describing it as a persistent challenge undermining Liberia’s progress. He committed to promoting transparency and accountability, promising a leadership style focused on fostering national development.
Bility, who also chairs the Rule of Law Legislative Caucus in the House of Representatives, expressed his determination to lead with integrity and to work toward building a government that serves the interests of the Liberian people. He assured supporters that his leadership would bring about meaningful change and restore public trust in the political system.
In addition to Bility’s election, the Citizens Movement for Change filled other key leadership roles. Mr. James M.V. Yogee was elected as Chairman, while Mr. Wilfred Banguara, who serves as Bility’s Chief of Staff, was chosen as the party’s National Secretary General.
