PRES. GEORGE WEAH AIDE’S THREAT OF REVENGE FACEBOOK POST RECEIVES MIXED RESPONSES

Date:

LIBERIA – The Liberian leader is an advocate of peace and a former Peace ambassador for Liberia. But a viral Facebook Post by his special aide seems very worrisome and contradicts whatever the President stands for.

Sekou Kalasco Demaro, posted “You killed my great-grandfather 4000 years ago,  and I’m to revenge.”

This post carries a photo of himself wearing Japanese traditional attire; sitting on a king-like throne with his right hand stretched out.

It is not clear what Kalasco meant by such a post. But it received varying responses. Some analysts believe the post is “uncalled for and anti-peace.”

They noted that the comments of people around President Weah must always and at all times exemplify what the Liberian President stands for. They indicate that Liberia is still fragile and that senior public officials, especially people directly working with the president must at all times, exhibit positive attributes.
