PRES. WEAH’S HOUSING BOSS PROUDLY ADMITS EMPLOYING BOYFRIEND

Date:

MONROVIA – Celia Cuffy-Brown, the controversial managing director of the National Housing Authority has tacitly admitted employing her boy as a consultant to her institution.

Even though Cuffy-Brown’s action contravenes the Code of Conduct of the government, she derogatorily responded to our publication on her  Facebook page, asking whether she is not allowed to have a boyfriend.

Cuffy-Brown, recently told a gathering of top Liberian religious leaders in Monrovia that she used her religious prowess to wake up a dead man.

She also created laughter at the gathering when she also told the congregation that she prayed and healed an impotent man. This is the reason many were shocked to read such a response from her to the news article.

She quickly took down the post on Facebook in which she asked whether she is not allowed to have a boyfriend; while referring to the Smart News Liberia story as “very cheap journalism.”

“All other men appointed at NHA are my boyfriends, is that a crime?”, she wrote on her Facebook field, before taking it down after receiving several negative responses from other Facebookers.

Recently Smart News Liberia reported President George Weah’s Housing Director, Madam Celia Cuffy-Brown employed her boyfriend Emmanuel Tobey as a consultant at the NHA.

Mr. Tobey otherwise referred to as ‘Tango’ runs a print house called “2-Tango Inc.” on Clay Street adjacent to the Press Union of Liberia (PUL).

It was gathered also that Madam Cuffy-Brown allegedly awarded a printing contract from the NHA to her boyfriend’s printing company.
