REP. FRANK SAAH FOKO SEEKS PRESIDENT BOAKAI’S IMPEACHMENT OVER ALLEGED WRONGFUL CONDUCT

Date:

MONROVIA – Frank Saah Foko, representing Montserrado County District #9, has announced his intention to submit a communication to the plenary requesting the impeachment of President Joseph N. Boakai.

Foko alleges that President Boakai has engaged in wrongful conduct within a short period of one month, leading to calls for impeachment proceedings.

Among the allegations put forth by Hon. Foko are claims that President Boakai wrongfully dismissed government officials with tenure positions, as well as appointing family members to government positions, among other accusations.

The communication from Hon. Foko is expected to be presented before the plenary on Thursday, February 29, 2024, where the issue of the impeachment of President Boakai will be addressed.
