LIBERIA – Whistleblowers are now waking up to thievery allegedly being perpetrated by some of President Weah’s trusted officials.
And just days after the sanctioning of three top CDC government officials by the United States Government for official corruption, a former student leader and human right crusader, Martin Kollie has whistled massive properties being acquired by the Chief of Protocol to President George Weah, Nora Finda Bundoo.
Martin Kollie has been looking back on the poverty-stricken Finda prior to the ascendency of the George Weah government.
Kollie has busied himself researching the alleged plunder and squandering of public funds by the Weah’s chief of protocol and discovered massive properties questionably acquired by Miss Bundoo.
Martin Kollie reports that Finda Bundo is building a mammoth Resort on the RIA Highway
“This giant-sized property is just a block away from RLJ Kendeja Resort on RIA Highway”, Kollie reported.
Before George Weah came to power in January 2018, Finda Bundoo sold cold bowl of rice and dried meat at a small zinc shop in Fish Town, RiverGee County, Mr. Kollie.
“As Chief of Protocol, she does not make more than US$2,500 per month after deductibles. Even if she was not buying food to eat, clothes to wear, gas for the car, spending on miscellaneous, etc., 2.5k per month cannot build those massive properties that she now owns”, said Kollie; wondering whether she has a money-making machine to construct all of the estates she owns around the country.
Besides this property on the RIA highway, Kollie revealed that the Executive Mansion Chief of Protocol also has 3 condominiums: One is in Fish Town and two are situated in Monrovia specifically in Brewerville, District #17, and VOA Community in District #6 including a long stretch of residential apartments for rent.
The activist promised to upload photos of the properties with their exact locations to prove.
Kollie added that he is profiling and documenting Weah’s officials for their alleged overnight wealth. He indicated that his action is intended to ensure full accountability and justice through lifestyle audit and other means as may be required.
Efforts made by Smart News Liberia to get the side of Ms. Finda Bundoo failed.
