SUPREME COURT OF LIBERIA TO HAND DOWN JUDGMENT ON WRIT OF PROHIBITION CASES

MONROVIA – The Honorable Supreme Court of Liberia has announced that it will hand down advance opinion and render judgment on several petitions for writ of prohibition cases. The judgments will be delivered on Wednesday, April 24, at 11:00 am.

The cases to be decided include:

  1. Hon. Garrison D. Yealue v. Government of Liberia
  2. Hon. Reginald K. Nagbe v. Government of Liberia
  3. Andrew Peter v. Government of Liberia
  4. Edwina C. Zackpah v. Government of Liberia
  5. Prof. Wilson K. Tarpeh v. Government of Liberia

The announcement was made by order of the Chief Justice, Her Honor Sie-A-Nyene G. Yuoh.

The judgements in these cases will have significant implications and are eagerly anticipated by the parties involved and the public. The decisions will be pivotal in shaping legal interpretations and providing clarity on the issues presented in these petitions for writ of prohibition.
