MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Prof. Dr. Josephus M. Gray, Dean of the Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Liberia (UL), has been honored with a distinguished international recognition from Sharda University, a leading institution in Greater Noida, India. The accolade highlights Dr. Gray’s impactful work in fostering cross-border academic collaboration that strengthens ties between Liberia and India.
In a statement released on Friday, Dr. Gray expressed his gratitude, emphasizing the significance of the recognition. “I am deeply honored and gratified to have been bestowed with international recognition from a prestigious Indian leading university, signifying a testament of our impactful work that benefits both Liberia and India in several significant ways,” he said.
The recognition was conveyed through a special congratulatory message from the President of Sharda University, acknowledging Dr. Gray’s contributions to academic excellence and research. Dr. Gray’s engagement with Sharda University includes serving as an external examiner for the institution’s Ph.D. dissertations and as a visiting professor in the Department of Political Science at the Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
