Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence
LIBERIA – The Unity Party stands in strong solidarity with Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence as she leads a process tomorrow October 28, 2022, at the National Elections Commission headquarters to seek a resolution in the ongoing Liberty Party constitutional saga.
The UP urges the National Elections Commission (NEC) to immediately stop the apparent delay in the conflict and ensure a timely resolution as the nation prepares for the 2023 Presidential and Legislative elections.
The Unity Party notes that the NEC Chairperson’s deliberate public refusal to state and/or recognize in clear terms the Liberty Party’s Political leader raises serious doubt on her independence and clearly exposes her subtle involvement as a Party in the constitutional saga.
The UP is deeply concerned that the attempt by Davidetta Lansanah to delay review of the complaint filed by the LP political leader is a serious recipe for electoral conflict.
The Unity Party calls on all partisans to stand tall in solidarity with Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence, the political leader publicly recognised by the UP.
