WANTED FOR THEFT – PAKISTANI NATIONAL ABSCONDS WITH US$25K

MONROVIA – Saleh Hayat, age 22, a Pakistani National is wanted for theft of property by the Liberian National Police (LNP). According to the police charge sheet dated September 26, 2024, Hayat, on the 24th of September, 2024, allegedly absconded the country with US$25,000.00 from the Royal Builder Group of Companies.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2024, at about 4:05 pm, Mr. Amuid Mahmood, a Pakistani national and Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Builder Group of Companies, reported to the Johnsonville Police Depot that while he was out of the country on medical leave, Mr. Saleh allegedly made away with US$25,000 from the company’s safe.

Amuid Mahmood, CEO of the company and a resident of Johnsonville, reported to the Criminal Services Division of the LNP that while he was away, seeking medical treatment; he left Mr. Saleh as Acting General Manager of the company, unfortunately, on September 24, Hayat reportedly collected his Passport #: GL6174741 from the company’s safe and made away with US$25k and absconded the country.

Therefore, the Royal Builder Group of Companies CEO through the LNP has put up a “Red Alert” for Mr. Hayat and is encouraging the general public and the International Police Organization (Interpol) to have him arrested upon sighting him any part of the world.

Hayat is said to have been brought to the country by the company CEO, in early 2020, to assist with running one of his businesses, especially the one located in the Johnsonville Community.
