LIBERIA – Staunch Ruling CDC executive, Dr. Lester Zomatic Tenny, has blamed the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Nathaniel McGill for being the cause of disunity in the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).
Dr. Tenny said, Min. McGill is terribly exposing the CDC to the Liberian people. He spoke in an interview with KMTV MORNING SHOW.
According to Dr. Tenny, while Liberians are suffering to fetch daily meals, Nathaniel McGill who is also the chief of staff in the President’s office continues to build houses in the river and dish out millions of dollars across the Country.
Liberia’s Minister of State comes from a very poor back; a man who could not afford a one-bedroom flat prior to being named in the Weah Government. This is the reason many Liberians continue to ask as where he has acquired all of the monies he is spending.
However, Dr. Tenny said this kind of behavior by McGill, is creating serious mistrust in the minds of Liberians about the ruling party.
The minister of state recently dedicated a mansion on the VIM Island for his wife’s 35th birthday and has been spendings millions of dollars in certain communities in the country on pseudo campaigns.
Dr.Tenny, a former vice president of the National Oil Company of Liberia urged President Weah to reassign Min. McGill to a foreign country to work since he feels he is his best friend; instead of maintaining him at the ministry of state for presidential affairs.
