LIBERIA – News just coming has revealed that Finance Minister Samuel D. Tweah and his wife are involved in a tragic car accident.
There were no fatalities; but there were injuries, according to multiple sources. It is not stated how serious the injuries are.
The incident occurred on the Lofa-Bong highway this morning, sources say.
The Finance Minister and his wife were said to be driving in a convoy. It is revealed those injured were taken to the Phebe Hospital in Gbarnga, Bong County.
Finance Minister Samuel Tweah and his entourage were in Lofa County during the weekend for the 2022 graduation convocation of the Lofa County Community College, where the Minister served as the keynote speaker of the occasion, sources maintained.
