LIBERIA – The Liberia National Police has arrested a man in the Duport Road Community, Paynesville for allegedly killing a female believed to be a commercial sex worker.
The suspect Alex Cyrus in his late 30s, according to one eyewitness who spoke to our reporter said the victim refused the LD$380 paid to her for sex.
Suspect Cyrus has denied committing the act.
According to a police source, Cyrus allegedly admitted during the police investigation that he paid the victim LD$380 for sex (a short time). He alleged that the victim was not satisfied with the amount paid, a situation that led to the victim (name not disclosed) calling street gangs in the same community to allegedly attack him, something he said resulted in a fistfight between them… Smart News Liberia was unable to ascertain what mean did the suspect kill his victim.
