LIBERIA – The President of the Republic, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, on Friday, February 3, 2023, signed the Book Of Condolence in honor of the fallen Liberian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Richelieu Archibald Williams.
Ambassador Williams died on January 13, 2023.
President Weah, after performing the official ritual of signing the Book of Condolence at the Foyer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consoled the bereaved families.
He expressed sorrow and regret for the passing of Ambassador Williams and hoped that God would receive his soul.
The Liberian Chief Executive was accompanied to the ceremony by an array of government officials.
The deceased’s funeral will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church on Ashmun Street and will be followed by interment at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn in Brewerville.
