TREMBO CITIZENS ENDORSE PRO-TEMP CHIE AS 2023 CONSENSUS CANDIDATE

Date:

LIBERIA – The President Pro Tempore of the Liberian Senate, Albert Tugbeh Chie has been Petitioned and Certificated by  Trembo Citizens both in Grand Kru and Montserrado Counties respectively.

At a well-attended program yesterday in Monrovia, representatives of Youth, Women, and Elders from Trembo in Grand Kru County joined the rest of the Trembo citizens in Montserrado to petition Grand Kru Political godfather Protemp Chie.

Trembo citizens indicated that their decision is based on the impartial development carried out across the County by Senator Chie.

As such, they pledged their unrelenting support for the reelection bid of the Pro-Temp.

In the statement of Petition and endorsement,  the Youth, Women, and Elders from Grand Kru revealed that Senator Chie remains the best with respect to development in Grand Kru since the establishment of the County in 1984.

They concluded that reelecting  Senator  Chie is the surest path for rapid growth and development in Grand Kru.

In a brief speech,  Pro-Temp Chie accepted the petition from the Trembo citizens,  adding “I will not blow my own horn, because the evidence is all over in Grand Kru”.

Senator Chie used the occasion to commend the Trembo people in Montserrado for joining their kingsmen in Grand Kru to reaffirm their support toward his reelection bid.

He promised to do more for the County and ensure that the Central government addresses the issue of the deplorable roads linking the county.
