LFA SUBCOMMITTEES IN MONT. CO. CONCLUDE SEASON – TUNDER FC, PEPPER FC, OTHERS CROWNED CHAMPIONS

Date:

Tunder FC at the weekend won the ELWA LFA Subcommittee 3rd division league.

Tunder FC defeated Roundus FC 4-3 in an entertaining match to win their second league title in a row.

Tunder FC will be joined by Satara FC who finished second to represent the ELWA LFA Subcommittee in the Montserrado County 3rd division playoff.

Tunder FC Coach Emmanuel Davis who was named the best coach of the season, praised his boys for retaining the title, adding they are now ready to win a slot in the 2nd division.

In the Du Port Road Subcommittee, Zion Young Defenders won Life FC 3-0 to finish at the top of the league table but could not be crowned champions of the subcommittee.

This was due to a protest raised by Life FC who accused Zion Young Defenders of fielding one Nyumah Siafa whom Life FC claimed to be their player.

Should that protest go against Zion Young Defenders, they could lose up to 12 points which will hand the first place to Chrisco FC who finished the season in second place.

Life FC is accusing Zion Young Defenders of fielding their player without transferring the player.

Former Champions Oasis FC could benefit from that protest after finishing the season in third place.

Let’s give you winners in other subcommittees in Montserrado County.
