DARK SHADOWS IN GBARPOLU: TRAGIC WITCH BURNING SHOCKS LOCAL COMMUNITY

Date:

GBARPOLU CO., LIBERIA – The community of Gungbata is reeling from the tragic loss of Oretha Korsee, a woman who was brutally attacked and burned alive on accusations of witchcraft. The suspects, Cooper Korsee and Flomo Zinnah are currently in custody and have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Law enforcement officials are working tirelessly to gather evidence and bring justice to the victim and her family. This incident highlights the dangers of vigilantism and the need for protection for all members of the community.

The County Authorities in Gbarpolu County have vowed to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The suspects will be charged and brought to court in the coming days, according to the Liberia National Police.

As the community mourns the loss of Oretha Korsee, it is crucial for authorities to take swift action to prevent such acts of violence and ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in the region.
