DETERMINE GIRLS LEAVE FOR CAF WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Date:

A Determine Girls delegation of 26 persons left Liberia for Morocco on 26 October for the second Confederation of African Football (CAF) women’s Champions League.

The delegation, which is headed by Liberia Football Association (LFA) match commissioner general Sombo Izetta Wesley (Cllr.), was accompanied to the airport by LFA third Vice President Jodie Reid-Seton.

It includes head coach Robert Lartey, acting secretary-general Gustufus Karpeh, physical trainer Patience Gweh, medic Edith Kerwillain, and media officer James Rancy.

Determine Girls President Grace ‘Master Queen’ Weah and deputy coach Robertson Waner will leave on 28 October.

The LFA contributed US$12,465 to the team’s round-trip tickets.

Determine Girls are in Group ‘A’ along with hosts ASFAR, Simba Queens of Tanzania, and Zambia’s Green Buffaloes.

Group ‘B’ includes Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, Wadi Degla of Egypt, and DR Congo’s TP Mazembe.

The competition runs from 30 October to 13 November.
