FAMILY OF 16-YEAR-OLD BOY REJECTS POLICE REPORT – SAYS HE WAS ALLEGEDLY MURDERED

Date:

LIBERIA – The family of deceased Gentle Bryant has rejected the Liberia National Police report, which says Bryant got killed by drowning.

But the family of the deceased 16-year-old boy in an immediate reaction to a police report at the police headquarters on Capitol Hill, Monrovia, said their son was murdered on the day of December 26, 2022, by unknown men allegedly in the Edward Binyah Kesselly (EBK) Military Barrack in Duazon, Liberia.

The deceased’s father, Mr. Jesse Bryant told newsmen that his son’s killing was gruesome and evil.

“My son was murdered. I am surprised that the police are doing this…,” he said in a disappointed tone.

Mr. Bryant continued: “I regret ever being a Liberian. I regret being born here. Why would the police compromise the case? When my son’s arms were broken and the boy toileted in his pants before he died.”

“We showed them the evidence,” the boy’s father alleged.

Mr. Byrant further narrated, “My son’s tongue came out of his mouth. He had cuts on his head and his ear was chipped with deep cuts. His eye came out. How will the police say my son died by drowning.”

“What kind of country is this? I am so broken. I just do not know what to say. They killed my son…”
