FINANCE MINISTER SAMUEL TWEAH ORDERED ARRESTED BY SUPREME COURT OF LIBERIA

LIBERIA – Latest report received by Smart News Liberia says the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Samuel D. Tweah has been ordered arrested by the Supreme Court of Liberia.

The writ is dated November 7, 2022, under the signature of the Clerk of the Supreme Court, Sam Mamulu.

The writ orders Brig. General Amos B. Kesseh Dickson, Sr., the Marshall of the Supreme Court, or his Deputy to arrest the living body of Samuel D. Tweah, Minister, Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Republic of Liberia, to show cause why he should not be held in Contempt of Court, for impeding the functions of the courts and creating a Constitutional Crisis for the Judiciary.

There have been no detailed reasons for the arrest order. Details will follow later.
