MONROVIA – Following the Liberia National Police charge of murder, criminal conspiracy and making false statements to law enforcement officers on Cllr. Gloria Musu-Scott and three members of her family, the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Information Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) has announced a major press briefing tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 11:00 am.
A GoL media alert issued this evening, says at tomorrow’s press briefing involving the Liberia National Police will provide a significant update in the ongoing investigation regarding the death of Ms Charloe Musu at the home of the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
This afternoon, the government through National Police charged former Chief Justice, Cllr. Gloria Musu-Scott and three members of her family with murder, criminal conspiracy and making false statements to law enforcement officers in the case involving the killing of her daughter Charloe Musu, who was reportedly stabbed multiple times with a sharp instrument, in February this year.
The LNP has since sent put out an arrest warrant for the alleged culprits.
It can be recalled, the death of Charloe Musu occurred following an alleged assassination attempt on the life of former Chief Justice, Cllr. Gloria Maya Musu-Scott, on 22 February 2023.
