LNP INVESTIGATES MURDER OF LIBERIAN WOMAN AT BARNESVILLE JUNCTION ON SOMALIA DRIVE

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Liberia National Police (LNP) is conducting a thorough investigation into the tragic murder of Amanda Nebo, a Liberian woman. Amanda lost her life in a horrifying attack by a group of criminals early Sunday morning near Barnesville Junction on Somalia Drive. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at John F. Kennedy Medical Center.

Following this tragic event, several individuals with potentially crucial information are in police custody and are being questioned. The aim is to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime face justice and are held accountable under the law. We urge the public to remain calm as we work diligently to ensure justice is served.

The Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) has expressed deep sadness over the loss of Officer Amanda Nebo, a dedicated member of the Monrovia City Police. Officer Nebo was allegedly stabbed to death Saturday night at Barnesville Junction by unknown men believed to be robbers.

Officer Nebo, aged 36, was known for her passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her duties. These cherished attributes will surely be missed by her colleagues at the Monrovia City Corporation. According to the MCC press release, heartfelt condolences are extended to the family and loved ones of Officer Amanda Nebo as they mourn this profound loss.

In collaboration with the Monrovia City Police, the MCC said the Liberia National Police is actively working to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this atrocious crime. The Monrovia City Corporation assures the family and friends of its fullest commitment to ensuring that those responsible for Officer Nebo’s tragic death face the full force of the law and are brought to justice.
