Date:

LIBERIA – Police in Paynesville City outside Monrovia have charged and sent to court, Andrew Anderson, an official of the National Investment Commission (NIC)  for mercilessly beating his ex-wife Loraine D. Anderson.

Family sources told Smart News Liberia Monday that Lorraine had gone to visit her two children who are in the custody of her former husband. When the fracas started.

Our sources alleged the program manager at the National Investment Commission (NIC) was infuriated by the visit of his ex-wife which prompted his assault on the helpless woman.

Police have charged Anderson with “Action of Harassment, Domestic violence, Disorderly Conduct, Manancing and Simple Assault.”

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Paynesville Magisterial Court shortly.
