PRESIDENT BOAKAI ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR KEY GOVERNMENT POSITIONS IN LIBERIA

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has announced a list of nominees for various positions in the government. These nominations will have an impact on several key institutions and ministries, including the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation, the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA), the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), the Liberia Broadcasting Corporation, the National Oil Company of Liberia, Ministries of Information, Culture Affairs & Tourism, Commerce & Industry, State for Presidential Affairs, and the Office of the President.

The nominees are as follows:

  1. Mr. Mohammed Ali has been nominated as the Managing Director of Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation (LWSC).
  2. Mr. Jacob Smith has been nominated as the Deputy for Administration at Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC).
  3. Mr. Stephen Johnson has been nominated as the Deputy for Administration at Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA).
  4. Mr. Julius K. Sele has been nominated as the Executive Director of Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).
  5. Mr. Anthony V. Kesselly has been nominated as the Deputy Minister for Public Affairs.
  6. Mr. Daniel Sando has been nominated as the Deputy Minister for Technical Services at the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs & Tourism (MICAT).
  7. Mrs. Masah Sobboh has been nominated as the Assistant Minister for Human Resources at the Ministry of State.
  8. Mr. Eugene L. Fahngon has been nominated as the Director General of Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).
  9. Mr. Sahr Johnny has been nominated as the Senior Economic Advisor at the Ministry of State.
  10. Ms. Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis has been nominated as the President/Chief Executive Officer of National Oil Company (NOCAL).
  11. Mr. Charles A. Snetter has been nominated as the Ambassador At-Large at the Ministry of State.
  12. Mr. Emmanuel Azango has been nominated as the First Vice President Finance & Investment at NOCAL.
  13. Atty. George K. Saah has been nominated as the Assistant Minister for Public Affairs at the Ministry of State.
  14. Mr. Dorr Cooper has been nominated as the Inspector General at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
  15. Amb. George Wallace has been nominated as the Advisor/Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of State.
  16. Mrs. Louise Tamba has been nominated as the Business Manager at the Ministry of State.
  17. Cllr. Bushuben Keita has been nominated as the Legal Advisor at the Ministry of State.

Please note that these nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
