MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PASSPORT SECTION RESUMES NORMAL ACTIVITIES AFTER FLOODING INCIDENT

Date:

MONROVIA – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Passport Section, has announced the resumption of its normal activities today, April 19, 2024. This comes after a temporary closure due to flooding caused by a burst pipeline during ongoing renovation work.

The unexpected flooding led to the temporary suspension of services, causing inconvenience to many individuals who rely on the Passport Section for various official matters. The closure was necessary to address the flooding and ensure the safety of both staff and visitors.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The disruption in services was unforeseen, and efforts were promptly made to resolve the issue and restore normalcy.

With the resumption of normal activities, the Passport Section is now ready to assist the public with their passport-related needs. Whether it’s passport applications, renewals, or other services, individuals can now access the services they require.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciates the public’s understanding and patience during the temporary closure. Measures have been taken to prevent similar incidents in the future, ensuring that such disruptions are minimized.

As the Passport Section resumes its operations, it remains committed to providing efficient and reliable services to the public. The Ministry encourages individuals to check their website or contact the Passport Section directly for any inquiries or assistance needed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its gratitude to everyone affected for their understanding and cooperation during this period. With the resumption of normal activities, the Ministry looks forward to serving the public and meeting their passport-related needs effectively and efficiently.
