TEENAGER’S BOYFRIEND ARRESTED AS KEY SUSPECT IN MURDER CASE

Date:

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Liberia National Police (LNP) has taken Samuel Brown, also known as Boi Cracky, into custody as the primary suspect in the murder of 17-year-old Angel T. Weah, whose body was discovered in an unfinished building in Brewerville. Angel, a student at AGM High School, was reported missing on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Her remains were found the following evening behind Lott Carey Mission, sending shockwaves through the community.

Police investigations have revealed that Angel was three months pregnant at the time of her death. Authorities believe her pregnancy may have caused tension in her relationship with Brown, who has admitted to being involved in the crime but claims others were also responsible.

The case gained momentum after police recovered Brown’s phone number on a slip of paper found in Angel’s bag. According to her family, Angel borrowed her brother’s phone to call Brown shortly before she went missing. This led investigators to focus on him as a suspect.

Law enforcement officials are now working to identify additional individuals who may have been connected to the crime. Meanwhile, Angel’s remains have been transported to a medical facility for further examination as the investigation continues.

The incident has left the Brewerville community in mourning, with many demanding justice for the teenager. Police have assured the public that no effort will be spared in ensuring those responsible are held accountable.
