MONROVIA – Liberian journalist and disc jockey, Mr. Babason David Harris, has been battling a serious illness for over a year and is now in urgent need of medical support. The condition, which has caused severe swelling in his foot, locally referred to as “Guar,” has left him unable to work and financially vulnerable.
Harris, who has dedicated years of service to the Liberian media, working with ELBC, DC101.1 FM, UNMIL Radio, and ECOWAS Radio, was forced to resign in 2023 due to the progression of his illness. Despite spending approximately US$110 monthly on medications to manage his symptoms, his condition continues to deteriorate, underscoring the need for proper treatment.
