LIBERIA – The home of the newly elected Chairman of the former ruling Unity Party (UP), Rev. Luther Tarpeh has been gutted by fire.
Rev. Tarpeh took the helm of power of the largest opposition party in the country almost two weeks ago during a national convention held in the central Liberian city of Gbarnga.
The properties situated in Paynesville., Houses, cars, and other assets, were badly burnt last night.
The cause of the fire is not known, but supporters are calling for an urgent investigation into the incident.
