Casemiro led Manchester United’s charge back to the Champions League in a dominant 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea. The Brazilian got the ball rolling with a thumping header from a free-kick, scoring for the second game running. He then produced a gorgeous pass to help set up Anthony Martial for the second goal right before half-time.
A Bruno Fernandes penalty and a late strike from Marcus Rashford rounded off a hugely satisfying night for Erik ten Hag’s side, although Joao Felix did grab a consolation goal for the visitors.
The only sour note for Ten Hag was a serious-looking injury to Antony just nine days before the FA Cup final clash with Manchester City. Source: goal.com
