BOAKAI RETURNS HOME TODAY

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The President Elect of the Republic of Liberia, Amb. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., is set to make a triumphant return to Liberia today, December 24, 2023.

After a rewarding visit to the United States of America, where he engaged in important meetings with high profile officials of the US government, President Elect Boakai is eager to forge strong ties with Washington ahead of assuming the Liberian Presidency on January 22, 2024.

During his time in the United States, President Elect Boakai utilized the opportunity to strengthen diplomatic relations and foster goodwill between Liberia and the United States. Meeting with a range of prominent US officials, the President Elect discussed various bilateral matters aimed at bolstering cooperation and collaboration between the two nations.

The President Elect’s visit marked a significant step towards enhancing Liberia’s position on the international stage and strengthening its economic and political ties with the United States. This visit also served as a valuable platform for President Elect Boakai to present his vision for Liberia’s future and garner support from influential American counterparts.
