CDC NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TEAM HOLDS BIG MEETING TUESDAY TO BEGIN STRATEGIZING WEAH’S 1ST ROUND VICTORY

Date:

MONROVIA – At the heels of the official opening of the political campaign for the 10 October general and presidential elections in Liberia, the National Campaign Team of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), has announced a meeting of all appointed members of the campaign team.

A statement issued in Monrovia at the weekend, under the signature of CDC National Campaign spokesperson, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala, states that by directive of the ruling party’s National Campaign Manager, Eugene Lenn Nagbe, all appointed members of the National Campaign Team are to be in attendance at the meeting which is slated for Tuesday, 1 August 2023.

Tuesday’s meeting, which is scheduled to commence at 11 am, at the CDC National Campaign Headquarters, located at Oldest Congo Town, in the Old People Liberation Party (LPP) Building, opposite the YWCA, is expected to cover serious matters regarding the first round victory of incumbent President George Manneh Weah.

The meeting will also be used for introductory purposes, according to the statement, which warns that only appointed members of the CDC National Campaign Team upon proper identification would be allowed access to the meeting’s venue.
