DGHCS DONATES MATTRESSES TO PETER SAYKLON ORPHANAGE – AS A SYMBOL OF HOPE AND CARE FOR THE ORPHANS

Date:

MONROVIA – In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and care, Delivering Good Health Community Services (DGHCS), a charitable organization dedicated to supporting orphanages and those in need, has responded to the plea of the Peter Sayklon Orphanage by providing much-needed mattresses to improve the living conditions of the children.

The Peter Sayklon Orphanage, a beneficiary of DGHCS for many years, had recently reached out to the organization seeking assistance to replace worn-out and uncomfortable mattresses in the sleeping quarters of the children. Many of these mattresses had served the orphanage for over a decade, with some being torn into pieces, rendering them unfit for a good night’s sleep.

Out of the 30 mattresses requested, DGHCS promptly delivered 13 as an initial response, aiming to alleviate the appalling sleeping conditions faced by the children. Nallie Brumskine, the Executive Director of DGHCS, expressed her happiness in being able to provide comfort and care to the orphans.

She remarked, “We are happy to give the kids a good night’s sleep and put a smile on their faces. This is our way of spreading comfort and care for the orphans. Thanks to all those who give us the support to help and support the orphans.”

The leadership of the Peter Sayklon Orphanage, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sayklon, conveyed their gratitude for the swift and generous response from DGHCS. Mrs. Sayklon, while receiving the mattresses, stated, “Words are inadequate to express how grateful we are always to DGHCS and all its partners for the level of support to the home.

”She added that the donation was an answer to their prayers and expressed their excitement at the quick response to their request.

“We know there are desperate needs elsewhere, but you have chosen us for a purpose, and the purpose is to offer hope and support to the orphans and bring smiles to their faces,” Mrs. Sayklon continued.

The mattresses provided by DGHCS not only address the immediate physical discomfort the children faced but also serve as a symbol of hope and care for the orphanage. The organization’s commitment to improving the living conditions of those in need continues to make a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable children.

The donation of mattresses to the Peter Sayklon Orphanage stands as a testament to the power of charitable organizations to bring about positive change and inspire hope in the most deserving communities.
