DOES TWELVE-YEAR LOADING CONSTITUTE CONTINUATION PURSUANT TO WORK DONE?

Date:

An opinion by D. Zawu Kota

A British classified and appraised; Premier Supply Chain Gaint

A Cliche, (an understatement); or a Mirage as in Physics?

One can not disjoin/divorce Nimba County’s significance from Liberia’s Presidential Election. The former head of state, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was strategic and held Senator Prince Y. Johnson as a Darling Boy until she exhausted her two administrations successfully.

Sen. Johnson is the Political Godfather for the majority tribe of Nimba county, the Gios. The Manoes, who are arguably the more educated ones in terms of number, are in the minority and will not vote for you because of their intelligence, the prospectives of their visions… Your Trump Card was the Gios who are led, influenced, and governed by their kinsman, Sen. Johnson.

PYJ has a very high level of intelligence despite all the farse… He outsmarted the former Head of State (C.G. Taylor) during their then revolution, broke away from the NPFL, and founded his INPFL.

He was the first to reach Monrovia (Caldwell); where he was based. While at this base, he visited the then embattled Head Of State, Samuel K. Doe; he persuaded him via a visitation at BTC Barracks. When soldiers loyal to Samuel K. Doe advised that Prince Johnson be executed, Samuel K. Doe didn’t and authorized Johnson to retire.

After a while, with the International game played, Prince Y. Johnson, captured President Doe at the Free Port of Monrovia on Sept. 9, 1990, and killed him. Playing low key on an old African adage “A handsome reward determines another tomorrow”,

Sen. PYJ is a very smart, trained, and intelligent ex-soldier.

On his return from exile, he was aware that his votes were not substantial or meaningful to have him motor his way to the Liberian Presidency; that’s why he ran as Senator for Nimba and won… Moving forward, he realized that he is a Key Stakeholder in the body politics of Liberia.

To rate a man whether he’s dangerous to society is not by his physical morphology or strength but rather his intelligence. Old age does not wipe away intelligence. It is also said globally that being a Lawyer is an age-old profession, the same as being a Doctor…

When Madam Sirleaf touched on the Presidency during her first administration, we understood that it was her finish line; she was humble and sweet to work with; as she strived to water reconciliation with all her haters.

At the close of her first term, when she attended her last State of the Nation Address (SONA), she announced that she would be a formidable force come to the 2011 elections.

It was a shock to the Opposition Block, and difficult to re-strategize and recalibrate the equation. she eventually won them cleverly and continued breastfeeding them as a loving grandmother until her first two years in her second administration. Lol!!!! Then she became the Politician some of us knew before her ascendance to power. That’s maturity…

Unlike you, your supporters have galavanted the streets, freeways, avenues, boulevards, intersections, alleyways, and corners trumpeting orally, via Public Address System and through other technologies that 12 years were loading, when you haven’t even commenced work yet in your first 6 years…

Do you know why those who play Spades hold their trump cards close to their chest while playing the game and while they put them down lastly? It’s to intimidate and not allow their rivals to know their strength.

Everything has come crumbling, collapsing, declining, disintegrating, and worsening on you because you shot yourself in your legs. Look back at your appointments, the Republic of Southeasterners, the high rate of corruption, lawlessness, frauds, conspiracies, a huge increase in the price of our staple food (rice), the unexplained deaths, $25 million mopped up, $30 million stimulus package, $16 million saga, no direct foreign investment, an unconstitutional and highly selective salary harmonization, an unconstitutional rectification of Dual Citizenship, our Diplomatic and even ordinary passports being misused and abused, our security officers have been demotivated and despondent; the arbitrary dismissal of Civil Servants which include me; your egos in every by-election and an act of narcissism…

If a fragmented portion of Liberia resembles Miami, what dividend or revenue do we get from that?

As we speak now, it is belated: you have chosen to continue turning on the wrong exits.

I am glad that you remembered in the final (6) year, that the Minimum Wage of  Civil Servants is insufficient; they too will remember you in October of this year, (Election Day). An act of reciprocity (a win-win situation, right back, right back, you do me, I do you).

Do you know that the Manigskey Sanction was indirectly at you, with your Chief of Office Staff being clipped?

See how you have attended to your common friends: Sylvester Williams (Karica), Abu Massallay (Puchi Ven Duchie), Alvin Brown (Zar) formerly of LTA, Jonathan Sogbie (Boy Charles), James Salensa Deba, former National Team Coach…

Learn this, in politics, the population is like a perishable crop. You will need to preserve them always or else they get rotten… Remember, when a lady is fed up, there’s no amount of “Baby I love you” that can suffice…

…if you don’t want betrayal, find a friend like me.
