LIBERIA – The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (EJS) Presidential Center for Women and Development says it is shocked, dismayed, and disturbed by the false rumors circulating over social media claiming that former President of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is dead.
The release from the Center says false rumors of this nature are very dangerous and must not be given ground to take root.
The says Madam Johnson-Sirleaf is alive and well.
The Statement says Madam Johnson-Sirleaf is currently in the United States attending international events and will participate in the U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit next week.
