GBARNGA, BONG CO. – Ahead of next year’s elections, there have been calls for citizens of Bong County Particularly Suakoko and Yellequelleh District to avoid the use of violence in resolving their disagreements but to maintain the peace.

One such person is Franklin Kpakoloyah Locula who wants to contest in the impending Bong County District #5.

Mr. Locula who runs the Franklin Kpakolokoyah Alternative Initiative Education Empowerment (FKAIEE) re-echo calls to maintain the peace despite their political differences.

The Bong County eminent citizen was speaking recently when he launched a mass citizen’s engagement with the distribution of several educational materials to students in the district.

He said the materials are meant to address the difficulties being faced by parents as the students resume normal academic activities.

Mr. Locula who received different endorsements from citizens of the district also used the occasion to call on the citizens to invest in agriculture.

FKAIEE’s Executive Director then promised to partner with groupings particularly women groups to enhance the different agricultural programs in the district.
