LIBERIA: TRADITIONAL OFFICE IN ZWEDRU SET ABLAZE

Date:

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY – An office belonging to the National Traditional Council in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County was set ablaze early Tuesday morning by unknown men following the death of electoral district 1 representative-elect Erol Madison Gwion.

The lawmaker, according to sources, died Tuesday morning following a brief illness.

The death of the lawmaker, according to our correspondent has bred tension which led an angry crowd taking to the streets in protest of the death of Gwion – alleging that Gwion’s death is not natural. Some of the protesters told our correspondent that there are people in the county who are responsible for the death of Gwion – and they want justice.
