LIBERIA: VICE PRESIDENT CHIEF DR JEWEL HOWARD TAYLOR HAS NO MORAL STANDING TO CRITICIZE SENATOR PRINCE JOHNSON – FORMER TRC COMMISSIONER WRITES

Date:

Jewel Howard Taylor has crossed the line, as John Stewart writes

“Madame Vice President Chief Dr Dahkpana Jewel Howard Da Our Time to Eat Taylor, you have no moral standing to criticize Senator Prince Johnson for his murderous conduct and his insatiable thirst for the Liberian presidency.

Lest you forget, you were married to an equally murderous character, disgraced Liberian President and convicted war criminal Dahkpana Charles Taylor now spending the remaining years of his miserable life behind bars.

It was forces loyal to your husband that overran the Phebe Hospital in 1994 killing doctors and nurses including your parents according to accounts given to the TRC.

How have you remembered them? Have you ever called for their killers to be brought to justice? Moreover were you not a Major Beneficiary of the criminal excesses of your husband Charles  Taylor wining and dining in luxury while your husband was drugging our youths and sending them to fight and die in endless battles to protect your privileges?

After having served for 12 years as Bong County Senator and 6 years as Vice President what can you show to the people of Bong County and Liberia as your footprints least to mention in your hometown of Sanoyea where you have not erected even a hut let alone a school or clinic.b

How have you spent the millions of dollars allocated annually to your offices both previous and present and on whom or what have you spent it- on the welfare of former child soldiers of your husband’s rebel army now deserted and left to their own devices?

Stop this mad and senseless grab for power Chief Dr. Dahkpana Dat Our Time to Eat Jewel Howard Taylor.

As the devout Christian you profess to be let me remind you of the warnings to Oppressors witten in James V of the Holy Bible which reads this:

“1. Go now ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that will come upon you

  1. Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.
  2. Your gold and silver is cankered and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as if it were fire. Ye have heaped together treasures for the last days.
  3. Behold the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth and the cries of them which have reaped have entered unti the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
  4. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth and have been wanton, ye have nourished your hearts as in a day of slaughter
  5. Ye have condemned and killed the just and he doth not resist you.

In just five months from now on October 10, 2023,  your fiestà shall come to an end and the Liberian people shall issue you a Writ of Eviction/EJECTMENT NOTICE.

And be warned resist the temptation to cheat because the Liberian people will never ever accept the imposition of a vile and corrupt leadership including you, Chief Dr. Dahkpana Dat Our Time to Eat Jewel Howard Taylor.”

  1. It is regrettable that a former TRC Commissioner of the Republic of Liberia would write such an unprofessional opinion that only serves to undermine the authority and integrity of the work of the TRC. The credibility of the TRC report is largely tied to the integrity of those who sat in the high office that was charged to execute the mandate of the TRC. As such, vengeful and hateful outbursts of this kind, irrespective of the facts it contains, only indicate an inherent unprofessional bias that may have underpinned the work of the TRC, making it even more difficult for already controversial the TRC recommendations to be taken seriously. This is grossly unprofessional, and doesn’t do any good for the country. This is regrettable and should not be happening regardless the ethnic, political, or economic interests one my have in such a politically volatile environment.
